Chris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst get married
Hardwick and Hearest who have been a couple for a long time, and decided to finally tie the knot amongst a few close family and friends.
The ceremony included 450 guests in a walking dead themed wedding in Pasadena, Calif. Hearst wore a custom designed gown by Christian Siriano gown, while the groom wore Prada suit.
Before they married, the groom was so excited, he posted a picture of the couple kissing at their wedding rehearsals. The couple decided not have a traditional registry and instead informed their guests to donate on their behalf to their chosen charities. The couple hope to raise funds for charities such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Operation Smile, GLAAD, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Best Friends Animal Society.
Hardwick said about his bride, “[Lydia] and I are incredibly fortunate people and didn’t feel right taking gifts from anyone so our wedding registry instead is a menu of five wonderful charities that we asked our guests to pick any or all of to make a donation toward,” adding, “If you’re feeling generous and able, this support of others is the best way to support us on our magical day! No matter what, we appreciate you!!!”
Before the wedding the bride wearing her Christian Siriano-designed gown wrote a heartfelt message to her husband saying “I am truly blessed to have you in my life @hardwick. I love you, and I will never stop loving you. I cannot wait to marry you in one week,”
